AMPS

Welcome to Advocates for Madison Public Schools (AMPS)! Our goal is to “amp up” public support and interest for the Madison Public Schools through showcasing and telling the stories of the many successes happening in our schools. At the same time, we realize there are many places where improvement is needed. We want to work with MMSD leadership to ensure high quality at every MMSD school and the spread of solid, well-tested teaching and learning strategies so that ALL students receive a great public school education. And we want to underscore the impacts inadequate state funding is having on ALL school districts in the state, including Madison’s.
