I was at the Capitol today and went to see where this is being held. When you enter the Capitol from the street, you are on the ground floor. Go up two levels. The Assembly Parlor, where the news conference is being held, is in the West Gallery (State Street Entrance). It is left of the Assembly. If you feel lost, ask at the information desk in the rotunda located at the King Street side of the Capitol.

Regarding the press conference, Sondy P-R invited a member of the MMSD student senate to actually speak at the press conference. Jacinth, the alternate student rep on the board, is going to speak. The Student Senate will have representatives at the press conference.
Thursday night, prior to the BOE public hearing at Memorial, the student senate is going to hold a press conference at Memorial on the affects of the state funding system in their lives.

Just to be clear, the resolution is good and worth passing, but it does not commit anyone to do anything to change school financing in Wisconsin.
